Vintage horn trinket box with brass fittings

Vintage horn trinket box with brass fittings. I would estimate that this lovely little box dates back to the 1950's, and I think it is made from cow or water buffalo horn. It is round with a conical lid which flips open on a brass hinge. It also has a brass latch in the front which holds it closed. The box has a green stone on the top of the lid, and brass features around the bowl and lid sides. It is felt lined inside. It is 7cm in diameter at its widest point, and stands 6cm high. The box is old and has a little age wear (hinge a bit loose but working), but is still solid. A great addition to your dressing table.
