Vintage 'Hunting Dog & Ducks' Metal Box

This lovely, old, hinged white metal box has been well made with a wonderful lid, which has been beautifully decorated in relief in super detail. It features a hunting dog standing on a rocky outcrop overlooking some water, with ducks flying overhead and the sun coming up through the clouds. The dog and sun have either been done in brass or have been gilded to give it a lovely finish. It also has been lined with pink satin and has a fitted lock, but I'm afraid, no key. Although the box has been well used, it is full of character and well made with a nice solid weight to it. It measures 10,3cm x 8cm x 4cm and weighs 376g.
