A pair of distinctive round mirrors made from genuine vintage wooden pattern moulds salvaged from a working engineering factory in South Africa.
These weren't made to look old. They are old industrial moulds that have been given a new life as mirrors.
Originally used in the manufacturing process, the wooden moulds bear the marks of their working history: layers of old paint, exposed timber, scratches, dents, worn edges, fixing holes, joins and the beautiful uneven patina that develops through years of use. We have deliberately retained these features rather than restoring the wood to look new.
The result is a pair of mirrors with a wonderfully tactile, industrial character. Each one is slightly different, and together they make a strong statement while bringing warmth, history and texture to a space.
We believe this is what makes reclaimed industrial pieces so interesting: you aren't buying something manufactured to look vintage. You're buying a genuine piece of industrial history that has been given a new purpose.

These are authentic characteristics of the original moulds and form an important part of their beauty and character. The two mirrors will not be identical, and neither has been artificially distressed to create this appearance.
