and there are small holes visible in the same place
Some have tears and bent/crease marks

There are 17 certificates ranging from 1920 to 1937 (1 for every year)
1923 is missing
The certificates are life assurance for a FC Briscoe from Port Elizabeth
There are some old South African stamps on some of them
With these are a few other items that are vintage
namely a few envelopes with stamps
There is also included an old Supplement from the Advertiser titled
"Boksburg Our Town 1887-1987
