This solid and fairly heavy ring is 9ct yellow gold is English vintage and has an interesting celtic theme to it. The decorative elements of the ring head feature a 9ct white gold base with an intertwined celtic design in raised yellow gold and studded with 6 diamond accents providing additional sparkle. Broad shanked, and narrow at the bottom, the ring sits snugly on the finger, lying quite flat - making it comfortable and easy to wear. There is a fairly broad 9ct gold "shoulder" that lifts the surface of the ring 15mm above the finger and creating a nice solid feel to the piece. The design elements on the 20mm wide x 7mm long x 2mm high ring head reach down the shoulders, the texture and colour providing a contrast against the smooth highly polished yellow gold. The piece is well hallmarked including '375' for 9ct gold, the jeweller's signature,  the Sheffield Assay mark, 'DIA' and '.05' for the authenticated diamonds. I have had the ring jeweller tested and authenticated by and independent jeweller and his evaluation certificate for R5'325 will accompany the ring. Gorgeous on the hand with its' Celtic detailing. Would make a lovely and unusual wedding band. It is quite bold for a stacking ring but with its smooth band design, would definitely sit well with other rings.
