Vintage carved conch shell "lamp shade" displaying a scene of a maiden with a water vessel sitting on clouds and flowers.. Beautiful soft, warm mood light in pink, yellow and orange tones. Probably manufactured in Italy or France in the 1950's - 1970's. A lovely interior piece that would perfectly fit a table, desk, shelf, bedside, etc.

The seashell does not have it's original electric wiring and plug and takes and it takes a candelabra base light bulb. The shell base is fitted with what looks like a brass threaded ring ( 3cm diameter opening for the bulb) to fit onto the base of the "stand".
