An outstanding example of early-to-mid 20th century British craftsmanship, this vintage leather-covered hip flask was made by James Dixon & Sons of Sheffield, England one of the most respected silversmiths of the period.
Maker's Mark: Trumpet with banner trademark and text James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield, Made in England
Material: Clear glass body, wrapped in genuine brown leather with a solid pewter top
Lid Interior: Retains original cork seal inside the hinged pewter cap

Collectors Note:
The trumpet and banner logo was officially registered in 1881, although used earlier by the firm. Made in England was added post-1921 to comply with U.S. export regulations, dating this piece firmly to the early 20th century.
