Nippon simply means Japan and was utilised on Japanese export porcelainuntil 1921, after which the word Japan was used. This item is a Japanesemanufactured cottage ware tea pot dating between 1921 and the end of the1950s. The item is decorated in embossed cottage detail.

CONDITION: The teapot lid has a hairline (please see picture) and the item hascrazing, but still functional and beautiful as a decorative piece.
