Vintage K&P Peterson 313 System Standard Estate Pipe.

A vintage, quality estate pipe in the bent billiard shape by renowned pipe makers K&P Peterson.  Stamped "Peterson's System Standard" and "Made in the Republic of Ireland 313" to the shank with "K&P Peterson" to the nickel silver mount.  In overall good vintage condition.  Cleaned and sanitized.  Kindly view images above for more detail.

K&P Peterson Pipes' history began in the year 1865; the year Charles Peterson opened a small tobacco shop in Dublin. Later in 1875, Charles Peterson approached the Kapp brothers, Friedrich and Heinrich, with a new pipe design and with this, a very long-lived partnership was formed, Kapp & Peterson. The Peterson brand of pipes are one of the most recognized in the world. 

I have on auction a large estate lifelong collection of quality tobacco smoking pipes dating from the 1950's to 1980's.  Apart from 3 or 4 of them (faults mentioned specifically) the condition is good to very good.  The collection has clearly been well-maintained and lovingly cared for.
