Vintage Large Brass Iridescent Foil Art Wall Plate Country Cottage Scene - Made in England


Beautiful and very decorative large solid brass wall plate featuring an iridescent foil art decoration of a country cottage. It is marked on the back what appears to be 'Elpec' as well as England pointing to its origins and manufacturer.


This decorative piece is in good condition with some signs of wear as can be seen in the picture. The brass might also have seen too heavy a hand when it came to polish taking away the rich patina it should have had at this stage. This will however return over time if over polishing are avoided. 


It is fitted with brass hardware to the back, making it easy to hang on your wall and has a diameter of about 28cm and depth of around 4cm. The artwork has a diameter of approximately 15cm.
