Due to it's size collection preferred in the Fourways Jo'burg area
Comes from the household of an elderly lady who has gone to a
retirement village. Assumed vintage. The Persian / Oriental rugs
are really growing on me. Each one is so unique. This one has a lot
of detail surrounding the central medallions. Please view all
photos to get an overall picture. In my opinion it is large and measures
approximately length with tassels 290cm and the width (across) 141cm
It has a silk like appearance but is cotton?. There is
some unraveling on the nearside which will need attention

Here and other parts of the carpet please note that when the pile
is opened, there is reddish tone. Either years of fading and or an
accumulation of dust. A professional clean is recommended,results
thereafter could be interesting (revitalise the red in the piece??).
