This beautiful Topaz stone won first prize at the 1964 Rhodesian Trade Fair in Bulawayo.It was cut by Harold Stidolph who was president of the Gem Society and  set by Schoenhauer Jewellers in 9ct gold with a locking C clasp and safety chain.   It has 2 slight chips under 2 of the claws, which are barely discernable.   24mm diameter and 13mm deep.  Magnificent item.
