Rare souvenir of the 1947 Royal visit to South Africa in 1947.
Pocket book wallet in brown leather (unmarked) with various pouches/slots for stamps and notes.
A large coin pouch closes with leather tongue.
The inner pocket is lined with brown cotton material.
It is stitched around all edges with a 4cm section on the fold where the stitching and cotton has come loose.
The inner pouch is embossed with "Made in England".
The front cover is stamped in gold lettering: "Royal Visit South Africa Suid Afrika 1947" surrounding the royal crown.
The wallet is in very good condition for its age.
It measures 15cm by 10cm, and 25cm when fully opened.
