EXQUISITE COLLECTABLE LEOPARD DESIGN DIAMOND AND SAPPHIRE 9CT YELLOW GOLD RING. *JEWELLER'S EVALUATION R8'415* ENGLISH HALLMARKS 

This truly unusual piece is a design of a leopard curving around the finger. The ring head features a 9ct yellow gold leopard's head with the two front legs on either side, a multitude of sparkling claw set, round cut diamonds creating the fur of the leopard, with dark blue sapphires forming the spots and the eyes. The detail on the head is captivating with the leopard's jaws open snarling, the whiskers evident. The 6mm high ring head is 20mm wide x 10mm long, narrowing quickly on the one side where the diamonds and sapphires end in a triangle to a slender gold shank that tucks under the finger, broadening somewhat on the other shoulder where the diamonds and a sapphire create the tail of the leopard, which touches one of the paws, closing the circle. The handcrafted piece is in good condition, with some buff marks. It bears the jeweller's signature, the 375 hallmark indicating 9ct gold and the Sheffield assay hallmark. I have had the ring jeweller tested and authenticated. His evaluation certificate for R8'415 will accompany the ring, which comes in a quality ring box. A spectacular conversation piece, beautifully crafted - definitely a collectable piece!
