Vintage Lionel O scale "Lionelville Rapid Transit Trolley No. 60". This old Lionel trolley has Blt 8-'55 indicating that it was manufactured in August 1955. I think that it is a Variation D trolley, with blue lettering and one-piece solid bumpers. It is die cast yellow with a red roof, and has passenger silhouettes in the windows. The trolley reverses direction when it hits a bumper. It is large measuring 20cm x 6cm, and is in good (untested) condition except that its pole is missing. Great buy for the collector.
