A scarce and authentic London, Midland & Scottish Railway (LMS) parcel stamp featuring the 1½d (one and a half pence) fare, issued from Manchester 47 Piccadilly. LMS operated from 1923 to 1947, and paper ephemera from major city stationsespecially Manchesterremains highly collectible today.

This parcel stamp shows the classic bold red LMS design, with PAID markings on both sides, a large printed 1½d value at the centre, and the origin station clearly noted. It also includes the parcel number (handwritten) and the package information section below.

Parcel stamps like this were routinely attached to luggage, parcels, and freight items before being discarded, making surviving examples quite uncommon.
