DESCRIPTION:
A black glazed porcelain vase, in the form of a gondola from Venice.
MARKS:
Lucia and number 6008. Lucia Ware was made by BEP, an
acronym for Boksburg East Potteries, in the 1940s and 1950s.
CONDITION:
No chips or crazing, with some rust residue and calcification to interior,
minor glazing imperfections and faint hairline crack (see close-up image).
DIMENSIONS:
Approximately 37 cm length X 8.5 cm width X 10.5 cm height.
