Vintage Majolica Style Grape Pitcher Made in Japan

Description
Charming vintage majolica style pitcher featuring a moulded grape cluster body with applied green vine leaf and scroll detail. The textured surface mimics grape bunches and is finished in a soft cream crackle glaze. The rim and handle are highlighted in warm terracotta tones, giving it classic mid century rustic appeal.

The interior shows even decorative crazing typical of 1960s Japanese majolica style export ware. A lovely decorative piece ideal for display in a farmhouse or wine themed setting.

Great vintage condition. No cracks or repairs. Fine age glaze crazing throughout and some discoloration inside. Structurally sound and display ready.
