On auction is an early 60's tinplate (hands and face hard rubber) King Kong battery operated figure by Marx toys. This item is sold AS IS as it was procured without any past history and not tested. The electric cable with external battery box and collar is missing. See pictures for the condition and size.The last picture shows a similar toy recently sold in the USA. Very collectible and said to be scarce. Note that the King Kong on the last picture is not the one you are bidding on and is not part of this sale. Quote from internet: " ...research revealed that the scarcity of the toy was due to it never being licensed by the Marx company. It was advertised in the 1962 Sears-Roebuck catalog as only "battery operated gorilla" and was available for only one year"  Postage R25. No overseas posting.
