A beautiful pair of mechanical pencils - Cross ans Sheaffer both made in the U.S.A.

The pencils are marked Cross and Sheaffer 

The Cross pencil has a screw mechanism which has a locking system to allow the lead to go back into the pencil

The Sheaffer's mechanism has a twist mechanism which advances the lead a fixed amount

The Sheaffer has a ribbed design and shows elegance 

The Coss pencil has a smooth and elegant rib design with someones engraved on the cap

The Cross pencil is from the 'Century' collection and has 1/20-10kt Gold filled marked on the cap

Both pencils have surface scratches with no gold loss.

Sheaffer uses thick lead and Cross uses thin lead
