Vintage Melissa Roses In Lucite Dome Enamel Powder Compact.

This enchanting 1950's Vintage Melissa powder compact is as good as new. It has a glorious deep golden patina. It comes in its original pouch which is a little worse for wear considering its age. The lid is set with a Lucite dome housing 2 stunning crimson roses with lilac foliage atop a background of glittering golden foil. The powder reservoir is full and unused. The inner lid is held shut by the instantly recognizable Melissa 'tear drop' catch. This compact is ideal for your collection or for use as a handbag mirror. 

Materials : Brass, Mirror, Powder, Lucite.
