This will make an excellent gift for a History buff or a perfect addition to any collector of religious artifacts. Historically the jars acted as protective containers, shielding the delicate manuscripts from the harsh desert environment and preserving them for millennia until their discovery. The jar and scroll are in an excellent pre-loved condition but the lid of the jar is missing.
