Vintage mixed cutlery set in distressed canteen - part Viners set with mixed bone handle knives & extras. I would date this old mixed cutlery set to between 1900-1950. It consists of part V LTD (Viners Ltd) Extra A Silver Rose pattern cutlery set - 4 main forks, 4 starter forks, 4 table spoons, 4 dessert spoons and 3 teaspoons. There are 4 bone handle main knives (Bunting Langdon & Co), 4 bone handle starter knives (A. Milns & Co) plus a bone handle carving knife and fork and a bone handle bread knife. This all is housed in a distressed canteen. The cutlery is in good condition for its age - very little plate wear, but the canteen is quite distressed. Great buy.
