VINTAGE MONEY  BANK "THE COLONIALBANKING & TRUST COMPANY LTD. 

An oval money safe (also known as a money bank) given to customers by the Johannesburg branch of the Colonial Banking & Trust company ltd. This one has the unique number  13756   was  made in England  by Automatic Recording Safe Co. Ltd.There is no key as the banks opened these containers for the customer when they wanted to deposit the contents. They then returned the money bank to the customer.   Good condition  with  Height 58 mm   Width 95 mm   Depth 46 mm    

Each coin denomination has its'  slot & a slot under for notes. There is a spring loaded mechanism behind each coin slot. Has some rattling content????
