VINTAGE MONTBLANC BURGUNDY MONTE ROSA 042G MODEL WITH 14K GOLD MEDIUM NIB. MADE CIRCA 1953. IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. UNBOXED. NIB HAS BEEN INK TESTED AND WRITES WELL. COLLECTOR'S ITEM.

This is the original Monte Rosa model, the first of the line made in 1953 and is a rare version in burgundy. The pen is in good condition with minimal signs of use. This model is famous for its reliability, perfection in simplicity, both in design and functionality. The pen bears the 042G insignia, where "G" in German stands for "Glanz" meaning Shiny. The pen has a classic old style form, superb balance, handling and feel. As this is a vintage item a service at a Montblanc dealership is recommended.
