Vintage National Panasonic GX 833 Portable Transistor Radio - for repair and refurbishment circa 1970's
Will need some TLC - the radio crackles when switched on but that is all I could get it to do.
Supplied with it's original plastic protective cover which was convenient to keep as it held the batteries in place. The cover does not clip closed, if it is snapped together using both studs on the back as it seems to have shrunken a bit over the years. The cover is quite tatty - see images.
Band selector is working FM, SW1 & SW 2.
Frequency: FM-AM 3 Band, 9-transistor 3-band National Panasonic model RF-4833

This radio belonged to me personally, I used it daily during our walking tour in 1979 to 1980, it was a strong radio and in those days wherever we pitched our tent for the night we got reception.
