OVAL FACETED OPAL VINTAGE 9CT YELLOW AND WHITE GOLD RING WITH BRIGHT WHITE STONE RUFF. Evaluation Certificate of R5'800 included

This vintage piece features an oval cut fire opal claw set in 9ct white gold. The gemstone is framed by a ruff of round faceted bright white stones, also set in 9ct white gold claws. The stones in the frame have the cut and facet of diamonds but are in fact good quality and well-set cubic zirconias. The shank is a simple slender 9ct yellow gold band that forks vertically on the shoulders to support the 12mm long x 11mm wide ring head which reaches 6mm above the finger. The piece weighs 2,51 grams. The pedigree of the piece is evident in its hallmarks - 375 for 9ct gold, the London Assay mark, the date mark and the jeweller's signature. I obtained the piece from a vintage jeweller in Birmingham. The ring comes with an independent Jeweller Authentication and Valuation Certificate for Insurance Purposes of R5'800.
