 IRIDESCENT NATURAL OPAL TRILOGY 9CT YELLOW GOLD RING. 4 x DIAMOND ACCENTS. *JEWELLER'S CERTIFICATION R13'000*

This gorgeous vintage piece features 3 large oval natural opals totalling 2.34 carats, claw set in 9ct yellow gold. The 8mm x 6mm glowing iridescent cabochons are separated by 4 x brilliant cut diamonds, 2 each on either side of the central opal. The 21mm wide x 8mm long ring head sits on a slender 9ct yellow gold shank, and rises 3mm above the finger. The shank forks horizontally on the shoulders, creating an openwork triangle on either side of the ring head. The claws are quite long and curving, being both decorative and functional. The ring bears the jeweller's signature, weighs a solid 3 grams, and is in good condition. I have had the ring appraised and certified by an independent jeweller, and his valuation of R13'000.00 will accompany the piece. It is a particularly lovely opal ring with definite 'collectable' appeal.
