The piece appears to be quite old but is in good shape and is solid and sturdy. The copper bands and latch could do with a good polish. One of the copper bands is a bit loose but can easily be secured.
The two doors open up to reveal storage space for 12 wine glasses and the barrelhas ample space inside for quite a few bottles. A shelf could even be added to increase capacity.
The cabinet has a total height of 56cm including the feet. Diameter is 39cm at the ends. It is small enough to be placed on a counter, yet large enough to stand on its own on the floor.
