Vintage Oude Meester Mirror
This beauty measures 56cm by 38cm. The plate is delightfully distressed, especially along its top edge, revealing the piece's age. This is one of South Africa's best known brandy brands, but the mirror is marked as having it's origins in Chicago, Illinois, USA. It was obviously thus part of marketing an exported product. This is a lovely thing, and is hanging in my entrance hall until it finds it's new home.
