This is a painting done by William G Mac Kenzie of the steam ship the S S James Crombie Aberdeen. She was launched in 1904 and was owned by about 14 different people and companies before she was scrapped in 1949. The painting was done in 1913 and apparently the painted was the harbour master of Singapore harbour for many many years. Lovely item for maritime collectors. the photo at the top left hand side is the painter.
