Info: The Oberlin range of dinner service crockery was produced by Noritake from 1973 to 1979.
Blue Trim Insets and Flowers with Tan scrolls and Gold Trim on the outer edge and inner bowl.
Noritake China, Japan, design # 2486 - "Oberlin" in White with a blue floral design and gold trim, a timeless classic.
In 1904, the forerunner of the Noritake Company was established in the village of Noritake, a small suburb near Nagoya, Japan. The goal of this first factory was to create western style dinnerware for export. It took until 1914, however, to create the first porcelain dinnerware plate that was suitable for export.
Condition: Very Good, no chips, cracks or crazing on the bowls, the gold trim and pattern is in very good condition.
