Penn 349 first manufactured in 1958 and was discontinued in the late 70;s. The gear ratio for the reel is 2,3:1. line capacity (30lbs) 350yds.

The Mariner series iwere virtually in a class by itself- the only reels designed specifically for deep sea trolling.( quoted from Penn Catalog)

THE REEL HAS JUST BEEN SERVICED AND IS IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION. Please to take note that a chrome side ring is missing from the reel but this does not affect the reel 's functioning.
