VINTAGE PETERSON SYSTEM STANDARD SHAPE 309 SMOKING PIPE

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly? Well, most say that it was a Wellinton pipe the famed Lee van Cleef was smoking in the iconic western, but I think this 309 is pretty damn close. You be the judge.

This pipe shows its age with a few scratches and dings (particularly on the outer edge of the bowl), a slightly dented ferule and some chatter and indentation of the stem concomitant with regular use, hence the low starting bid. Just adds character IMHO and still some lovely close grain on this out-of-production classic. All saidand done, still a great smoker and was obviously someones favourite.
