 Beautifully Framed & Ready to Hang! 

Batik (from Indonesian origins) refers to a technique of wax-resist and dye applied to the cloth and/or selected open areas. The design is often outlined with a brush or tjanting (waxing tool) which is dipped into hot wax. The open areas are then filled with coloured dyes according to the design, the wax is then removed by repeated ironing on newsprint. The picture is in excellent condition, non-reflective glass and double mount boards
