Vintage Plique-à-Jour Necklace | Victorian Revival with Gilt Metal, Enamel & Glass Beads

An exceptional vintage necklace in the Victorian Revival style, crafted with a beautifully ornate gilt metal base, hand-painted enamel accents, and colourful rhinestones. The central pendant is rich in detail, showcasing layered curves, floral motifs, and a palette of soft pastelspink, green, blue, ivoryenhanced by a glass drop bead and decorative glass-beaded chain. While not technically Plique-à-Jour (there are no open sections in the enamel), the design evokes its essence with radiant colours and intricate craftsmanship that catch the light in all the right places.

This piece is unsigned but wonderfully made, likely dating to the late 20th century. It is in excellent vintage condition with all stones intact, a secure clasp, and minimal wear to the enamel. Necklace measures approximately 41 cm end to end with a 7 cm extension chain for a comfortable fit. The ornate centrepiece measures around 5 cm wide by 7 cm long, including the dangling bead.
