This fantastic and rare vintage original Camille Naudot (1862-1938) porcelain cat figurine date to around the early 1900s and have the CN markers stamps on the bottom of the belly of the cat. The son of a porcelain merchant, Camille Naudot trained at the Ecole de Sèvres and succeeded his father about 1889. Camille Naudot won a gold medal at the Universal Exhibition in Paris in 1900 and the Grand Prix at the exhibitions in St Petersburg in 1901 and in London in 1908.This Vintage Ceramic Cat with Red Bow is hand painted and in great condition. There is some paint loss on the red bow. There is also a metal loop on the front of the cats chest, but I could not find any pictures to see what it was meant for. The cat is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or previous repairs.
