Rare collectors item - ideal for Use, Display or as a Restoration Project

We are downsizing and unfortunately no longer have room for this genuine antique toy.  Most of the items in this set date from the 1930s, with a few being post-war.  

The Trix Twin Railway (TTR) was one of the first electric model trains made in 00 gauge.  The locos run on 14 volts alternating current, supplied by three-rail track.  Trix had the clever idea of enabling two locos to be independently controlled on one track, each loco uses one outer rail and the centre rail to draw current. Hence 'Trix Twin' - two trains on one track.  The items were made in the UK, with a few items made in Germany.

Condition is as per photos. The items are in fair condition, considering that have been used and are over 80 years old.  Electrical items have not been tested with power, and would need to be checked and serviced before applying power.  New spare parts are available from the UK TTR Collectors Association.  Please ask and I can email the Spares Catalogue and technical servicing information.
