Vintage Railway Sleeper Bolts Set of x 4 1973 SAR/SAS A2 Sleeper bolts. 3x are marked SAR (South African Railways) and 1x SAS (Suid Afrikaanse Spoorweë) 73 NB A2. (A2 marks seem to be very rare bolts are mostly marked just with an A).

Also called Coachscrew Bolts Railway Africana / Memorabilia. All bolts are marked A.

Set is ideal to use for a wall mounted coat rack.

Length of the A = 14 14,5cm (depending on wear) and approx. 2 cm diam.   Weight of 5x = 3kg unpackaged.

State of bolts: Not all bolts are the same, some are more rusted than others but all are authentic SAR or SAS marked bolts used on the railways.

These vintage Cast Iron Railway Sleeper Bolts look wonderful once the heads have been cleaned up and used in reclaimed wood as hooks or to fasten into cabinets or tables. Can also be used as door knobs or just to have a great unusual collection for your bar, braai area or man cave.
