Vintage Record No. 077A bull-nose rabbet plane. I would estimate that this plane dates to the 1930/40s. It has a cast iron body and tungsten steel cutter, and an adjustable mouth has been embodied in this plane by fitting two steel distance pieces in between the detachable nose and the plane body, which gives four varying openings for fine or coarse work. It has screw adjustment for regulating the depth of cut, and can be used as a chisel plane by removing the nose. The plane is complete, and in good working condition - no cracks or repairs. Great buy for the carpenter.
