The world has changed rather a lot since this globe was made.

A wonderfully timeworn vintage Replogle World Ocean Series globe with tactile raised-relief topography, softly faded blue-green oceans and a gold-toned stand and graduated meridian ring.

The historical map includes former political names such as Zaire, Rhodesia, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and South West Africa. Seychelles Is. (Br.) is also shown. Together, these details suggest that the globe was produced approximately between 1971 and 1976.
