The Submariner Sea Dweller 4000 is a handsome watch for business and social wear, yet remains a driver's watch. With automatic movement thanks to a perpetual rotor, it is housed in the famous oyster case with black face and stainless steel band. The triplock crown, a triple safety device, is protected against accidents by seamless shoulders cut in solid metal. The bracelet has extension links so that it can be worn over a light diving suit and is secured by a fliplock safety clasp. A tough sapphire crystal remains scratch resistant under the most arduous conditions. The Submariner is guaranteed waterproof to a depth of 1220 m. The revolving bezel incorporates a ratchet and can only be turned anti-clockwise. The model is an officially certified chronometer. The watch is fitted with a special valve which allows helium and other gases to escape, enabling the watch to withstand decompression. The watch is in excellent condition and is still in its original packaging with extra parts and repair kit. It comes with all its original paperwork.
