This lovely roll top dish can be used for butter or caviar. The domed lid swings under the base to reveal a glass insert. There is some room underneath it for ice shavings to keep the contents cool. The dish and glass insert are both in very good condition, the silver plate is intact.  The roll top dome works very well and the piece has graceful curved legs and lions head detail.

 

Measurements are: diameter is 40cm, height to top is 12cm.
