Vintage ROTARY REGAVOLT POWER TRANSFORMER, British Electric Resistance Co. Ltd., Enfield, Middlesex

Up for auction is this vintage Rotary Regavolt power transformer made by British Electric Resistance Co. Ltd, Queensway, Enfield, Middlesex, England. Very solid and heavy (3.25 kg). I have no clue how to test it, so it as sold as is. Dimensions are 19 cm x 14 cm x 13 cm. Pictures are of the actual item up for auction, please take a close look at them since they form an important part of my description.
