Vintage round Wedge brass ships hanging lantern - made in England

Vintage round Wedge brass ships hanging lantern - made in England. This old lantern would have hung from the ceiling somewhere in the ship. It has a wire protector around it, in order to protect the round glass. The lamp part is released at the bottom of the lamp, so that the wick could be lit or snuffed out, an then re-affixed. The lamp stands 25cm high. A great buy for the collector of vintage maritime items.

Please note that the postal strike is causing some delays in delivery of parcels. I can offer the service of sending parcels by courier - counter to counter. Small parcels under 5kg cost R 100.00 to send. For larger parcels over 5kg, I will obtain a quotation when requested.
