A LOVELY ROYAL VENTON WARE OCTAGONAL CAKE PLATE.

There are four patterns on the plate with a fruit bowl and birds in good condition. A navy blue and yellow beading on the inside circle of the plate. There are two blue "splodges" on the beading. I am not sure if the artist or the transfer had a problem. This plate is very old and there is wear on the gilt. Royal Venton Ware was discontinued in 1936 so this plate is 79 plus years old! However there are no chips, cracks or crazing. There are four blocks in the octagonal shape which haver a raised design. Approximate diameter 24.5 cm. The logo on the underside is not clear. Please see photos hereunder which form an integral part of the description.
