Description: Vintage Royal Worcester White & Gold Porcelain Large Soufflé Dish
A grand statement piece of classic mid-century British bakeware, this large, deep soufflé dish beautifully marries functional design with formal table elegance. Formed from heavy vitrified white porcelain, the exterior features architectural vertical ribbing that supports an even culinary rise, smartly accented by a hand-painted 22-carat gold gilded bands wrapping around the upper rim.
Manufactured in England by the historic Royal Worcester porcelain company, bearing the corporate backstamp mark that traces back to mid-to-late 20th-century production runs. Created out of flameproof, vitrified culinary fine porcelain explicitly developed to resist extreme oven thermal shifts and maintain structural integrity over time. This is shape 46 size 2 designation and is a discontinued piece.

Condition: Excellent vintage structural condition with a spotless, glossy interior glaze. Visible Flaws: Faint, honest historical shelf dust on the unglazed reverse ring and very minor factory pinpoint underglaze variations from the original kiln environment. The 22k gold gilded accent line has no rubbing but very minor scratch marks, not immediately visible.
