A striking piece of classic mid-century culinary design, this deeply ribbed soufflé dish perfectly pairs timeless British restraint with table-ready elegance. Made from signature heavy vitrified white porcelain, the exterior features architectural vertical pleats that encourage an even rise, punctuated by a hand-painted 22-carat gold gilded line running along the upper rim.
Manufactured in England by the historic Royal Worcester porcelain company, stamped with the iconic Worcester crown-and-circle mark dating from the mid-to-late 20th century. Constructed out of specialized, flameproof culinary-grade fine porcelain engineered specifically to manage rapid oven heat conduction without fracturing. Fully marked on the base with the shape 46 size 2 designation. This is a discontinued piece.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition with a pristine, high-gloss glazed interior.
Visible Flaws: Faint, tiny iron-spot glaze inclusions on the base from the original factory firing and minimal shelf wear on the unglazed bottom rim. The 22k gold gilt rim is exceptionally crisp, showing zero notable rubbing.
