Vintage SADF Air Force Commando Pilot uniform. The uniform dates to c1975 - Air Commandos were formed in September 1963 and consisted of volunteers willing to help the Defence Force in the 'light air support' role. The uniform consists of:

A tunic with a cloth Air Commando Pilots wing badge and metal SAAF buttons.
A pair of trousers.
A cap with badge and chinstrap.

Unfortunately the cap is distressed - is quite stained, and has some moth holes under the peak. The rest of the uniform is in fair condition for its age - needs a dry clean. Great buy - quite a rare item.
