Vintage SADF Issue "Vilco" Pocket Knife - NATO Numbered 7340-18-400-2426.
A rare 1970's / 80's SA Defense Force military issue multi-tool pocket knife, often referred to as a sailor's knife or military utility knife. All steel in good overall condition with some usage wear. All blades / tools are tight and open / close smoothly.
Main Blade : Standard folding blade for general cutting tasks. Stamped "Vilco" and "SABS" approved.
Can Opener : Designed for piercing and cutting around the rim of a can.
Bottle Opener / Flathead Screwdriver : A combo tool for opening bottles and turning screws.
Marlin Spike : A pointed tool traditionally used in marine environments to untie knots or splice rope.
The grip scale is marked with: 7340-18-1400-2426, which is a NATO Stock Number (NSN).
Original lanyard loop is present and intact.
